Born on a Beach.
While on our honeymoon, Janelle and I talked about building something we could do together. We worked through many ideas, but the one thing we kept coming back to was travel. Since our first trip together, we have loved traveling and sharing our experiences with friends and family. Being able to provide recommendations, pitfalls, and incredible destinations, to a broader audience, gives us purpose.
who are we?
Janelle and Tonja
We are lovers of travel, food, history, music, and dogs. We work to travel and enjoy life. We have been together for over eight years and visited over 25 countries. Some of Tonja’s favorite memories growing up are of viewing her grandparent’s adventures on a large screen projector, while her grandmother read her travel diary. Travel was romantic, you dressed up, you took pictures and had to wait for them to be developed. Tonja loved those nights with her grandparents and seeing the world outside of her small town inspired a life long passion for faraway places and adventure.
Travelers, dreamers of travel, vagabonds, explorers, and curiosity seekers are all welcome here. We aim to inspire you to see the world, investigate and enjoy the places, people, and experiences travel creates. We want to share what we have learned and provide inspiration for you to create your adventure.
